Change is coming. It is vital unions shape the impending upheaval at universities.

My four key priorities:

  1. Increasing our pay to match the rising cost of living – and making up for post-Covid real wage cuts.

  2. Controlling workloads and increasing job security through a better and more actively enforced enterprise agreement.

  3. Making management accountable to staff, students and the community by helping NSW Parliament re-write the University of Sydney Act

  4. Strengthening our union by boosting membership and workplace delegates.

If we don’t fight we lose

Strong unions are essential for a democratic, fair and vibrant society. Building strong unions in our workplaces is one of the most practical ways of building such a society.

The opportunities opening up in the next two years are greater than at any time in the last forty. Together we can make a difference.

For a good university we need a strong union, and a strong union needs engaged members.

Vote for NTEU Renewal.

For Secretary vote for Beccy Connell.
